Duties

The Misdemeanor Division handles offenses which may or may not include an arrest, such as criminal traffic violations, driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, petit theft, battery charges, and minor drug possession charges. Two Assistant District Attorneys work in the division and handle over 3,500 cases a year.
