Greg Mashburn spent a decade learning to incarcerate criminals as an Assistant District Attorney in Oklahoma County. There he built an impressive record, becoming a Division Chief just six years after he began his career.

Since taking over the District Attorney’s office in January of 2007, Greg has re-organized the office to better manage the caseload and ensure that victims are properly cared for in the criminal justice system.  This, together with an improved relationship with other law enforcement departments within the district, has led to a dramatic increase in both the quality and success rate of cases which, in turn, will lead to a safer District 21.

On the State level, he has taken a leadership position with the Oklahoma District Attorney’s Association on the Board of Directors and also serves on the three person executive committee for the board. On January 20th, 2015, Governor Mary Fallin appointed Greg to serve on the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control Commission.

In 2008, Mashburn was named outstanding District Attorney for the State of Oklahoma after only his first year in office.  In addition, his office and staff have been recognized statewide with various awards for excellence.

Greg began his third term as District Attorney in January of 2015.

Greg Mashburn plans to continue his professional career as a prosecutor.  For those who know Greg Mashburn well, his dedication to public service is evident and constant.
